Lawrence Liu is Director of Platform Strategy at Telligent. Lawrence spearheads Telligent's Platform Strategy with the primary objective of keeping Telligent on track as an industry leader in having the most robust and extensible social software platform, adopting the relevant technology standards and policies, and providing best-of-breed and innovative features and capabilities. Lawrence is also a key contributor in shaping Telligent’s Marketing Plan and defining its Product Roadmap.
Prior to joining Telligent, Lawrence was with the Microsoft SharePoint product group for 3 years as the Worldwide Community Lead and Senior Technical Product Manager for Social Computing and Accessibility, where he led the SharePoint MVP program, established the “Platform+Partners” strategy, and founded the open source Community Kit for SharePoint project. Previous to that, he had roles as Enterprise Technology Strategist, IT Infrastructure Consultant, and e-Commerce Program Manager at Microsoft, Director of Engineering at a startup, and Senior Manager of Network Services at a national bank.
In his spare time, Lawrence enjoys spending time with family, mountain biking, tennis, gardening, and photography.
